The Wilhelmina Room
The name of Wilhelmina (1880-1962) is forever linked to World War II. Her speeches to Radio Oranje make a big impression. She grows into a symbol of resistance. When using colours for this room, we were inspired by the war years. We alternate the colour blue with calm, earthy tones. Note the bright blue side table and the old rotary phone. They are a subtle nod to the past. The comfortable interior and beautiful decoration make you feel right at home.
The Beatrix room
Beatrix (1938) is a perfectionist, hard-working and socially engaged monarch. She is also an art lover and counts painting and modelling among her hobbies. In 1980, she was crowned Queen. In this royal’s room, you will discover the style of the 1980s. A colourful time, with trendy neon colours. The subtle purple paint and the black-and-white wallpaper fit that style perfectly. The trendy accessories in contrasting colours spice up the room. You will experience a relaxed feeling in your room.
The Alexia room
Alexia (2005) is a princess with spunk. Studying at a boarding school in Wales, she is following in her father’s footsteps. The princess can be found on the hockey field with some regularity, she sings and plays guitar. The inspiration for this room is found in the 2020s. The style is characterised by vibrant wallpaper in blue, black and green, combined with a soft, powder pink paint. The bright green chairs have zest and give the room a fresh and modern look. Here you will find all the space and peace you need to relax.
